littlelacie, you can go on a web-site called www.GoFundMe.com and start a Fundraiser letting all your friends, family and people you know that you need Financial help and assistance to find a new place for you and your family to live as well as some money to help you with food and necessities. 3

This is the list of places that help at Christmastime.Salvation Army,Toys for Tots,St.Vincent DePaul Catholic Charities,United Way.Some police and fire halls help so call them late November. Some churches help so first November call them. Some radio stations help call end November, listen to FM.The ones down here you got to see if they are in your city.Call city hall or go online and find out. Goodfellows, Lions Club. This one is for kids whose father or mother is in prison or jail,Angel Tree, which is through Salvation Army. Check with your city Rescue Mission Ministries. They also help with Thanksgiving and Christmas food.On internet type in Christmas help, then your city, state, (or county, state if nothing shows up on city, state). You will then see a list of places in your area that are helping with Christmas this year. Woman in a Shoe will add more if she finds anything.

You are very welcome. type in, on internet, "free food and clothes in Wilmington, Delaware." that pulls up 49 million sites. the one I clicked on was "Wilmington Food Banks/ New Castle County." there are lots of other sites listed. be sure to see "46 free clothing sources in the Wilmington, Delaware area."

lol...I have helped several times by giving to others directly on here & often various ways. Actually why are you so defensive? I never used words: 'rude, mean' ...lolz at least not me...maybe those are recollections from others. All I actually stated was you do give facts (as you yourself stated) but not with generous bedside manner. Also, gave you thumbs up on at least giving facts & shared sympathy for deceased mom memory & shared mine. The fact that you ignored all that is kinda proof you are spiritually missing a screw? Just saying... again May God bless.

now Radiant-I am not mean,or rude to anyone!ever!what are you talking about?"generous bedside manner" maybe you should not be so quick to criticize others that are trying to help, maybe you could help.

I know it's been a year ago...but I imagine the pain of it may be a reminder esp now. My prayers lifted for you. I lost my mom recently (June 2015)...so I can imagine somewhat. I never had a physical father. May God bless.

In Maryland you can apply for temporary cash assistance while you are awaiting Dissability if you are disabled. Also, do you have a Legal Aide office nearby...they often handle or refer to pro bono for poor folks or financially challenged in such cases & may be able to point you to other resources. I would also look into HUD/affordable housing options/Section 8 based on income. Possibly seek how you can appeal (and get reason) for Medicare bill issue. I certainly would avoid stressing over it & credit. Let it be a medical bill. It's worst things. My prayers lifting for you.
